I received mine 8 years ago, can't tell you how many times it's been dropped & it still works. I use mine daily to check over my school bus at o'dark thirty in the morning. It's compact, easy to clip on & off key chain for quick use. Wish I could give one to all school bus drivers. It's AWESOME!!!

Since I got mine in my Christmas stocking in 2001 I have carried it faithfully and it has performed faithfully. Great product.

Love the red LED light for astronomy! Does just as well as my $25 dimmable specialty light.

First it's worth noting that I lost my first Inova (which I had for about 3 years) when I experimented with using a small carabiner to clip my keys to my belt loops. The clip on the light managed to detach itself from my keys while I was out on errands. It didn't happen when my keys were in my pocket (odd I know) so just be warned if you favor the carabiner-to-belt-loop method of carrying keys. All in all I love the light. I went with the white, it's bright enough to light up my 10ft by 12ft living room in the pitch dark. As for the battery use, from the casual paces I put it through I only need to replace the batteries every 5-6 months. And the best part is the button isn't so sensitive that it will turn itself on in your pocket! (Common problem I've had with previous bulkier "pocket" lights) Highly recommend for anyone worried about that surprise power outage or low light situation.
