I received mine 8 years ago, can't tell you how many times it's been dropped & it still works. I use mine daily to check over my school bus at o'dark thirty in the morning. It's compact, easy to clip on & off key chain for quick use. Wish I could give one to all school bus drivers. It's AWESOME!!!

I first bought one of these after the 9/11 attacks so I would always have a light available if I needed to evacuate residents from a multi-story building. It hangs from my badge pointing at stairs so my hands are free to use the railings. The Microlight was one of the few at the time that allowed the batteries to be replaced AND had a very bright light AND was well made. Also comes in handy when inspecting dark/scary mechanical rooms to find the light switch! This light is the BEST!

Since I got mine in my Christmas stocking in 2001 I have carried it faithfully and it has performed faithfully. Great product.

Love the red LED light for astronomy! Does just as well as my $25 dimmable specialty light.
