Cyclists who ride at night/early morning know how important it is to see and be seen by their fellow commuters. That's why we designed our BikeLit to not only light your way, but also immediately signal your bike's front/rear orientation to oncoming traffic. Like the universally recognized headlights and taillights of a car, the BikeLit comes in two colors: white attaches to the front cables, (illuminating the path ahead and letting people know you're coming their way), and red clips to the rails under the seat (clearly marking the rear of your bike). Attachment is quick and easy - no tools required.
The long-lasting LED of our BikeLit emits a bright, ambient glow that can be seen up to a mile away. Two modes to choose from - steady beam and continuous flash. Water-resistant, it's powered by two replaceable batteries (included), to keep you and your bike safely seen in the dark for years to come.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
My BikeLit automatically turns off after about 1 minute. Do I have a defective product?
No. This product has a "Try Me" mode, which allows customers to see the glow and flash modes for 30 seconds before turning off automatically. This feature allows the BikeLit to be tested in stores without having the batteries drained from products being left on.
There should be a yellow sticker inside or attached to your BikeLit with instructions. To deactivate, you simply press and hold down the switch. It will first go into the glow mode, then flash rapidly. Keep pressing down firmly until it shuts off on its own. (It is important to continue pressing down and wait for the rapid flash to shut off on its own.) This process will remove the "test mode" and allow you to use the product normally.
What type of batteries does the BikeLit use?
When your batteries get low, they can be replaced with two 3V Lithium 2016 coin-cell batteries. Extra batteries can be purchased at NiteIze.com under the product name Nite Cell or can be found wherever batteries are sold.
