Sometimes we come up with something so obviously useful we wonder why it took us so long. This is one of those times. Made of lightweight durable stainless steel, our eClipse is a self-locking, spring-loaded clip that comes backed with a thin strip of 3M™’s patented VHB™ adhesive. Affix it to the back of your cell phone, mp3 player—or almost any lightweight item with a smooth flat hard surface—and your device becomes instantly “clip-able.”

Uniquely designed to securely grip woven fabrics up to 3 mm thick, the eCLIPse attaches easily and securely to suit, jacket, and pant pockets; waistbands; the interior pockets of most purses, backpacks, and briefcases. Your device stays safely and securely in place until you release it with a simple press of its lever.

Auto-locks onto soft fabrics up to 1/8” thick – not designed for use on extremely thick or hard fabrics such as some types of leather.
Quick-release as simple as pressing the lever to release the lock and remove.

What types of mobile devices will work with the eCLIPse?
The eCLIPse will work with any mobile device or hard shell case that has a flat surface to affix the clip. You can also use it on MP3 players, digital cameras, or any tool you want be able to clip and keep handy!

What type of fabrics will the eCLIPse lock onto?
The eCLIPse is so versatile it will work with the thinnest silk fabrics and any soft, woven fabric up to 3mm thick. The eCLIPse was not designed to be a traditional belt clip, so it may not lock onto thick/hard leather materials.

How do I attach the eCLIPSe to my mobile device?

What do I do if I want to remove the eCLIPse from my device?
This is specifically addressed in the instructions as well, but you will simply, but carefully cut the 3M™ VHB™ adhesive, pull the clip away from the device, and use rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining adhesive.

How long does it take for adhesive to setup on my device to the point I can use it?
After application, the bond strength increases and approaches the ultimate bond strength after 72 hours at 70°F (21°C). Typical bond strength build-up: 20 minutes equals 50% bond strength, one hour equals 75% bond strength, one day equals 90% bond strength, three days equals 100% bond strength.
